Description
Description
This wall sconce is hand-woven from natural bamboo strips into a semicircular cylinder that sits flush against the wall, casting a warm, textured silhouette. The Japanese-inspired weave holds two E26 sockets side by side inside the bamboo shell, so a pair of bulbs share one fixture body rather than requiring two separate sconces. Bamboo construction keeps the piece lightweight while giving it a natural, textile-like surface uncommon in metal or glass fixtures.
Each socket accepts a bulb rated up to 35W, and buyers may choose LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs to control brightness and color to taste since bulbs are not included. A dimmable bulb can be self-purchased and installed for adjustable brightness, letting the sconce serve as either a soft ambient wash or a brighter reading light. The fixture is compatible with both 110V-120V and 220V-240V wiring.
Mounting is hardwired to a wall junction box, and the fixture ships preassembled with its bamboo shell already formed and ready to hang. It fits well beside a bed as a headboard-height reading light, or along a hallway or living room wall for ambient lighting. It is rated for dry indoor locations only, and the woven bamboo should be kept away from direct moisture or exterior installation.
