The Uppingham reading light uses an all-iron build with a flexible, bendable gooseneck arm that lets the light be aimed precisely at a book or pillow. Its round, minimalist head keeps the profile compact against the wall, extending 14.3 inches from a low 2.5 inch tall base. White and black finishes are offered, each with the switch positioned at the lamp head or at the base.
A built-in 2W LED produces a focused 200-lumen warm white beam suited to close-range reading without spilling light across the rest of the room. The fixture is hardwired for a permanent connection and runs on either 110V-120V or 220V-240V. The gooseneck arm holds its position once bent, so the beam stays put through the night.
Iron construction gives the arm enough rigidity to hold a bent shape while still flexing to a new angle when needed. The fixture is rated for dry indoor locations and mounts directly above or beside a headboard over a standard junction box. It suits bedrooms and reading nooks where a single, directed light source is wanted.
