- Glass That Softens The Light — A real glass shade lands the beam warm and even instead of harsh and flat. Built from scalloped amber glass in a metal frame.
- Bright Enough To Read By — The shade aims usable light where you need it without flooding the whole room.
- Warm Enough For A Bedroom — The glow is tuned warm, so the room settles down at night instead of waking up.
Description
Description
Marchmont takes its shape from Art Deco design, pairing a scalloped, shell-shaped amber glass shade with a brass frame that mounts flat to the wall. The fanned glass silhouette gives the fixture a distinct decorative presence, sized to sit above a headboard or flank a bedroom mirror as a single-light accent piece that reads as jewelry for the wall rather than a purely functional fixture.
A single E14-base bulb, LED, incandescent, or fluorescent, sold separately, sits behind the amber glass, which tints the light output to a warm, honeyed tone rather than a stark white beam. This amber cast suits bedrooms and other spaces where a softer, warmer ambient glow is preferred over bright direct lighting, particularly for evening use near a bed or seating area.
The brass frame and amber glass shade are hardwired for permanent wall installation over a standard junction box, keeping the fixture free of visible cords. Brass develops character over time and can be kept looking bright with an occasional wipe using a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners on the glass shade to preserve its scalloped detailing and finish.
