- Solid Iron, Built To Last — The frame is powder coated rather than painted, so the finish bonds to the metal instead of chipping off it. Built from industrial iron on a flexible hose.
- Rotates To Aim The Light — The head turns on its mount, so you can throw the beam at the page, the wall or the ceiling.
- Frees Up Your Nightstand — Mounting on the wall gives the table back to your book, your glass and your phone.
Description
Description
Linnaea is a wall-mounted reading light built around a flexible aluminum gooseneck arm that extends from a compact wall plate and rotates to aim its beam exactly where it is needed. The industrial-styled housing keeps the profile slim against the wall, and the fixture is offered in Black or Silver to match either dark or brushed hardware nearby. The hose-style arm holds its position once bent, so the light stays put once adjusted.
A built-in LED at the head of the arm outputs 3W and about 300 lumens, with a choice of Warm 3000K, Neutral 4000K, or White 5000K light depending on the task. Unlike hardwired sconces, this fixture runs on plug-in power, so it can be positioned near an outlet without opening a wall for wiring. The narrow beam suits close-range reading rather than filling a whole room with ambient light.
The arm and housing are aluminum throughout, with the flexible hose section allowing repeated repositioning without loosening the mount. A wall plate anchors the fixture near a headboard, hallway, or living room seating area, and the plug-in cord runs to a nearby outlet. Wipe the aluminum surfaces with a dry cloth; avoid bending the hose section past its natural range to keep the joint from wearing out.
