- Solid Brass, Warm And Weighty — Brass carries a warmth that plated finishes never manage, and it holds its tone rather than wearing thin. Built from vintage finished brass.
- Bright Enough To Read By — The shade aims usable light where you need it without flooding the whole room.
- Guides A Hallway Or Stairwell — Low, even light marks the path at night without the glare of an overhead fixture.
Description
Description
The Ashcombe wall sconce recreates a French vintage candle silhouette in solid brass, with slender arms holding two or three candle-style lights depending on the size chosen. The warm brass finish and traditional arm shape suit hallway, living room, or bedroom walls where a classic, collected look is wanted. Each arm ends in an open candle-style socket rather than a shade, keeping the profile light and traditional.
Two-light and three-light versions each take E12 or E14 base bulbs, compatible with LED, incandescent, or fluorescent candle bulbs so brightness and color temperature can be chosen to suit the room. No bulbs are included, leaving the light source selection open. Left uncovered, the candle-style sockets throw a warm, ambient glow well suited to a hallway or a bedroom wall rather than close task lighting.
The two-light version measures 9.45 inches wide and 19.69 inches tall, while the three-light version extends to 13.78 inches wide and 27.56 inches tall to hold its extra arm. Both are hardwired for a fixed wall connection and should be installed at a standard junction box. Solid brass construction is durable and can be kept bright with an occasional wipe using a soft, dry cloth.
