Alcyone Wall Sconce

The Alcyone wall sconce combines a copper frame with a cone-shaped dome shade in natural wood, giving the fixture a distinct Scandinavian silhouette that reads as both warm and tailored. Offered in six graduated dome sizes, the shade tapers from a narrow top rim toward a wider base, directing light along the wall plane. A single lamp holder sits behind the wood dome, keeping the profile slim enough for headboard or hallway mounting without projecting far from the wall surface.

Each sconce holds one E26 lamp holder and accepts LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs, so brightness and color temperature can be matched to the room without changing the fixture itself. No bulb ships with the unit. Wiring is hardwired, tying the sconce to a wall switch or dimmer circuit for adjustable ambient light rather than a plug-in cord, and the fixed backplate keeps the connection concealed behind the wood dome.

The frame is finished in copper paired with a walnut-toned wood dome, a combination suited to dry, indoor locations such as bedrooms, living rooms, and stairwells rather than bathrooms or exterior walls. Because the shade is cut from natural wood, grain and color vary slightly from piece to piece. Installation runs through a standard wall junction box; wipe the copper and wood surfaces with a dry or lightly damp cloth to preserve their finish.
